These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of cybernet.gg, the CyberNet launcher, the CyberNet plugin, all servers we host, all servers rented through our hosting service, and any related software, websites, or services we provide (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the launcher, connecting to a CyberNet server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service requires a separately purchased copy of Cyberpunk 2077®. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CD Projekt RED or CD Projekt S.A. ("CDPR"). All references to Cyberpunk 2077® or its assets are the property of their respective owners.

1. Definitions

• Account — your registered identity on cybernet.gg.
• Launcher — the CyberNet desktop application that synchronizes mod files and launches Cyberpunk 2077®.
• Plugin — the RED4ext / Codeware extension that injects multiplayer functionality into Cyberpunk 2077®.
• Public Server — a server we operate at no charge for general access.
• Hosted Server — a paid server provisioned for an Operator under the CyberNet hosting service.
• Operator — a User who rents a Hosted Server and administers it.
• Player — a User who connects to a Public Server or Hosted Server to play.
• User — anyone using the Service in any capacity.
• User Content — any Lua scripts, mods, configuration, voice transmissions, chat messages, or other material you submit, host, transmit, or display via the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18) to purchase any Hosted Server or any other paid product. Players must be at least 13 years of age, and at least 16 years of age in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or jurisdictions with equivalent protections. Cyberpunk 2077® is rated for mature audiences in many jurisdictions; you must independently comply with the rating in yours.

You must provide accurate registration information, secure your account credentials, and notify us promptly at support@cybernet.gg of any unauthorized use.

3. License to Use the Service

Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

• Download and run the Launcher and the Plugin on hardware you own or control;
• Connect to Public Servers we operate;
• Connect to Hosted Servers you have permission to access;
• If you are an Operator, operate one or more Hosted Servers you have rented from us, in accordance with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of, or distribution right in, the CyberNet framework, source code, plugin binaries, server software, network protocol, or any other component of the Service. The Service is licensed for use while connected to our network or while operating a Hosted Server you have rented from us. You may not:

1. Redistribute, sublicense, lease, lend, or sell the Launcher, Plugin, or any other component of the Service.
2. Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law that cannot be waived.
3. Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice, trademark, or copyright statement.
4. Operate a CyberNet-derived multiplayer service outside the Service we provide.
5. Use the Service to develop a competing service.
6. Bypass, disable, or otherwise circumvent any security or access-control measure of the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any original Lua scripts, configuration files, mods, voice transmissions, or other material you submit through the Service. By submitting User Content, you grant us, our service providers, and (where applicable) the Operator of the server you are connected to a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, transmit, display, perform, copy, and distribute the User Content solely as required to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and to grant the license above;
• Your User Content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other right;
• Your User Content does not contain malware, exploits intended to compromise other Users, or material prohibited by Section 5.

We are not obligated to host any User Content and may remove User Content at our discretion, including for suspected infringement, security risk, or violation of these Terms or our Code of Conduct.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

1. Use any cheat, exploit, automation tool, unauthorized client modification, or asset injector that gives unfair advantage or alters the integrity of any server beyond authorization the relevant Operator has granted you.
2. Probe, scan, flood, or otherwise interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
3. Harass, threaten, dox, defraud, or impersonate any other person, including our staff or any Operator.
4. Use the Service to transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or hateful content, or content that sexualizes minors.
5. Submit content that violates a third party's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
6. Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit access to Public Servers, Hosted Servers belonging to others, or the Service in any manner not expressly authorized.
7. Use the Service to facilitate any unlawful activity.

Violation may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your Account, removal of User Content, suspension or termination of any Hosted Server you operate, and reporting to law enforcement or rights-holders where appropriate.

6. Hosted Server (Operator) Terms

If you rent a Hosted Server, you are an Operator. In addition to the rest of these Terms:

• You are responsible for your server. You set the rules within the bounds of these Terms and the Code of Conduct and are accountable for User Content uploaded to your server, the conduct of Players you admit, and any custom Lua resources you deploy.
• You may not run the same Hosted Server for any other multiplayer system or use the Hosted Server to run software unrelated to CyberNet without our prior written consent.
• You may not resell or transfer your Hosted Server to another party without using our in-Service ownership-transfer mechanism.
• You will provide a Reason when issuing bans, kicks, or other enforcement actions. Per-server bans are visible cross-server in the affected User's profile, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate your Hosted Server for material violation of these Terms, abuse complaints we determine credible, repeated chargebacks, or non-payment.

7. Server Hosting and Billing

CyberNet does not sell, host, or process payment for Hosted Servers directly. Server hosting is provided by our official hosting partner, Relay9 (relay9.net), on a recurring subscription basis at the prices published at relay9.net/pricing.

If you rent a server, your subscription, billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Relay9's own terms of service and handled through Relay9's billing systems. CyberNet is not a party to that transaction.

The CyberNet Service itself — including account creation, the network server list, and the self-host server-key flow in your dashboard — is provided free of charge.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service interoperates with third-party services including but not limited to:

• CD Projekt RED / CDPR (the publisher of Cyberpunk 2077®): you must independently own a legitimate copy of the game.
• Discord, Inc.: optional account linking via OAuth.
• Stripe, Inc.: payment processing.
• Hosting partners: we use third-party data-center providers to operate Hosted Servers.

Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third party.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the CyberNet name, logo, framework, plugin binaries, server software, network protocol, website design, and documentation, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted in Section 3 are reserved.

Cyberpunk 2077® and all related trademarks, characters, and assets are the property of CDPR. We make no claim of ownership over CDPR's intellectual property.

10. Privacy and DMCA

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other Users, the Service, or third parties.

Upon termination, your license under Section 3 ends immediately, and we may delete your Account, your User Content, and any Hosted Servers you operate. Sections 4 (license-back), 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 survive termination.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim, demand, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your User Content, (b) your use or misuse of the Service, (c) your operation of any Hosted Server, or (d) your breach of these Terms.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. You waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

OPTIONAL — TO DISCUSS WITH COUNSEL: a binding-arbitration clause modeled on common SaaS terms, with a small-claims carve-out and a mass-arbitration coordination procedure.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at cybernet.gg or via the email address associated with your Account at least 30 days in advance, except where shorter notice is required for legal or security reasons. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, and DMCA Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign freely. There are no third-party beneficiaries.
